How are the search results sorted?
The search result is automatically sorted by relevancy, if search criteria is provided.
Based on the set of criteria you enter,
matched listings are sorted first by relevancy, then by distance, then by alphabetical order.
You do have the flexibility to sort the list either by relevancy or by distance by clicking
on the "Sorted by" link on the upper right corner of the search results page. Relevancy is
based on the number of criteria matching the provider's profile information. In other words, a
better match translates to a higher ranking. As an example, a provider that matches your
criteria by schedule would be ranked higher than a provider that is closer.
