I can't disable an account. Why?
You cannot disable an account if:
- The account has children enroled.
- The children in the account have pending profile changes.
- The account has a balance credit or owing.
If the account has children enroled or the children in the account has pending profile changes, please follow these steps to withdraw them from your program so that you can disable the account:
- Bring up and manage the account. For instructions on how to bring up and manage accounts, click here.
- Once you're in the account detail page, view/update/manage the child's information, including their enrolment profile by clicking on the child's name.
- Managing (view/update) the child's enrolment profile allows you to delete any pending program changes, and withdraw the child from any program. For help on managing enrolment profiles, including withdrawing children from programs, click here.
Additionally, the account outstanding balance must be zero before you can disable an account. If the account has a balance, please follow these steps to eliminate the balance:
- Bring up and manage the account. For instructions on how to bring up and manage accounts, click here. This will take you to the account detail page of the parent.
- Depending on whether the account balance has an amount owing or credit, enter a charge or credit transaction appropriately to make the balance zero. For instance, if the account has a balance of $100, enter a credit transaction (refund) of $100 to eliminate the balance. As shown below, please use the New transactions drop down box located on the right side of the page under the Financials section. Select the appropriate transaction (e.g. Add a charge or Add a credit), and click the Go button. Follow all instructions that come up to complete the transaction.
