An enrolment profile defines a child's start date and end date enroled in a specific program, in a specific room, with a specific schedule (also called Week 1-Week 2 configuration, i.e. every other week). As an example, the sample child record, including the enrolment profile, shown below indicates that John Cooper is 4.3 years old and was born on January 14, 2004. He is enroled in the Default Program and assigned to Default Room. He is attending on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week, and on Tuesday and Thursday next week. Defining a Week 1 and Week 2 cyclic schedule provides providers the flexibility to offer part time programs available every other week to their customers. For instance, a preschool part time program allows parents to choose specific days of Week 1 and Week 2 for their children.
Our Free basic version of bizAdvantage offers only one program type and one room type - that is, the child's program and room are assigned automatically to Default Program and Default Room respectively. In the future, you can customize the name of the rooms and programs, and you can create more than one program or room.
bizAdvantage records all profile changes such as room, program or schedule changes, allowing you to maintain an entire enrolment profile history. Enrolment profile histories provide quick retrieval of the child�s past information. As an example, please refer to the enrolment profile history below. In this case, John Cooper was enroled from April 9, 2008 to April 10, 2008 on a part-time basis (Monday, Wednesday and Friday for week 1, and Tuesday and Thursday for week 2) to try out the provider's program. But starting on April 11, 2008, John's parents decided to enrol him on a full-time basis, attending the same program Monday to Friday every week.
