I'm viewing the post-dated transactions of a parent account. What options are available and how do I use them?
You can do one of the following when you are viewing the post-dated transactions of a parent account:
- Go back to the account's Account Details page by clicking the link of the account number under the Account Information section.
- View and print posted transactions by clicking the View and print account statement link under the Tools section.
- Select and remove post-dated transactions. For instructions on how to select and remove post-dated transactions, click here.
As shown below, each row represents a post-dated transaction.

Each transaction is composed of a transaction date, description, source, amount and posting date, represented by the columns Trans Date, Description, Source, Amount, and Posting Date respectively. Please refer to the following for the heading/column meanings:
- Trans Date - Transaction date is the date when the transaction occurs (e.g. when you perform the service).
- Posting Date - Posting date determines when the post-dated transaction will be finalized, posted and displayed to your customers.
- Description - Where available, the description of the transaction (e.g. cheque number).
- Source - Type of transaction. Types include but not limited to the following:
- Credit - A credit transaction. Decreases the balance of the account.
- ADJ - A charge transaction. Increases the balance of the account.
- CSH - A cash payment transaction. Decreases the balance of the account.
- CHQ - A cheque payment transaction. Decreases the balance of the account.
- Amount - Transaction amount. Once posted, the account balance is adjusted equal to the transaction amount. Any amounts with a bracket (or parenthesis) decreases the account balance.
- Balance - Running balance of the account taking into account for upcoming or post-dated transactions. This feature allows you to view the account balance when all post-dated transactions are finalized and posted.
Additionally, Current Balance represents the current account balance without accounting for the post-dated transactions.
