The phone validation process for my provider profile failed to complete. What should I do?
There are several reasons why a phone validation process fails. These reasons may include the following:
- The provider telephone number is incorrect.
- During the validation process, the system received a busy signal.
- You entered the wrong validation code.
- The validation process was interrupted prematurely.
- The phone validation system system is temporarily unavailable.
- The local telephone company is temporarily experiencing problems connecting the call.
- You are using a rotary phone. We only support touch-tone phones.
- The provider telephone number is a VoIP (Voice over IP) number. We currently do not support this feature.
- The provider telephone number includes an extension (e.g. ext 231). We currently do not support validation of a telephone number through a telephone extension.
- You are subscribed to a telephone service that is blocking our call (e.g. the telephone service or feature blocks unidentified telephone calls or telephone calls based on the caller ID)
When a phone validation process fails, the system flags the provider profile as incomplete or the phone number as not validated. In this case, you should start and attempt to complete the phone validation process again.

To obtain a new validation code and start the phone validation process, please follow these steps:
- Any incomplete provider profile as a result of a failed phone validation process will have a note (highlighted in red) indicating an incomplete process. Click on this note to start the telephone validation process again.
- Click the Call Now button to proceed with the validation process
- The system will call the telephone number you specified in your provider profile. Please answer the telephone to connect with our validation system.
- Using your touch-tone telephone, enter the 4-digit validation code. If successful, you should hear a confirmation message telling you that the phone number is now validated.
- Click the Continue button to complete the process. Click the continue button again to go back to your My Account (Account Detail) page.
